My Breathless Moments

So what's a breathless moment? I think they can be a little different for everyone.

For me, they have been special life moments like the births of my children, celebrations of their accomplishments, and the recent marriage of my daughter. But not all breathless moments are happy. I remember the lives of my father and a brother who died far too young.

I believe that who we are today is largely shaped by those who have lived before us. Researching our history gives us a breathless glimpse from the past into the future.

I have experienced many breathless moments in my travels,the sheer beauty of the mountains of Switzerland, the awesome views from the Greek isles and Italy's Amalfi coast, or just quaint villages throughout Europe. The cultural differences of China and Thailand took my breath away. Capturing those breathless moments with photography allows me to relive them again and again.
